JUNIOR REAL ESTATE ANALYST OFFICES (M/F) - Belgium based

The Junior Real Estate Analyst Offices is assisting the Head of Offices in the management and development of the Offices portfolio, with focus on various business reporting and variance analysis, investment & divestment transactions and assistance in business planning decisions.

Function

The Junior Real Estate Analyst Offices is assisting the Head of Offices in the management and development of the Offices portfolio, with focus on various business reporting and variance analysis, investment & divestment transactions and assistance in business planning decisions.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Analysis

  • Prepare quarterly reportings regarding portfolio performance indicators
  • Intermediary between the communication, accounting & financial departments and the Offices team
  • Review and update business financial models to provide detailed output
  • Participate in the monitoring of quarterly budgets for the properties
  • Analyse with the Property teams the differences in forecasts and budgets compared to the actual situations
  • Monitor a selected number of tenants solvency
  • He/she will develop and maintain a network of market actors in order to identify possible opportunities early stage.
  • First point of contact for agents, brokers and advisors looking to sell potential projects (“Targets”)

Investments & divestments

  • Assist the Head of Offices in analysing targets further by performing following detailed analysis:
    • Analysis of market features
    • Analysis of competition
    • Analysis of the location and buildings SWOT
    • Review of lease features and deal parameters
    • Pricing and valuation benchmarking
  • Business modelling, DCF valuations and pricing computations
  • Writing of feasibility studies, investment reports and Executive Committee presentations (in Excel, Powerpoint, Word,…)
  • Assist the Head of Offices in the whole acquisition & disposal process from bidding/pitching, Due Diligence up till the final closing of the transactions
  • Perform follow up on post-closing actions, resulting from SPA or driven by internal efficiency reasons

Participate in the integration of acquired assets (organise kick-off meetings and provide internal teams with the appropriate financial information and documentation)

Profile

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • General knowledge

Relevant working experience of minimum 3 years, preferably in Finance or Real Estate

Detailed knowledge of the languages English, Dutch and French: oral and written, any additional language is a plus

Outstanding MS OFFICE automation knowledge: Excel - Word – Powerpoint

Bachelor or Master’s degree (in Finance, Economics or Real Estate preferred)
