GENERAL ACCOUNTANT

The General Accountant is in charge of all monthly accounts receivable and payable, tax payments, claim and invoice generation and management of overhead expenses of all the entities of the group. He/she prepares the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and statements for management review.

Function

The General Accountant is in charge of all monthly accounts receivable and payable, tax payments, claim and invoice generation and management of overhead expenses of all the entities of the group. He/she prepares the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and statements for management review.

Responsibilities

General accountancy

  • Supervise, explain the reporting of general costs
  • Administration for the publication of all Belgian annual accounts of Belgian companies within the group
  • Organise and control the activities of financial and budgetary reporting
  • Preparation of financial statements at the end of each quarter.
  • Intercompany accounting (Interest calculation, invoicing, payment,..)
  • Booking of the valuation of the different participations.
  • Vat Declaration.
  • Preparation of several spreadsheets for the management report (Budget vs Actual).
  • Control General accounts
  • Preparation of documentation for the auditors.
  • Budget preparation.
  • Preparation of the cut off of investment.
  • Calculation and booking of all the accrual (charges, interest,...).

 

Account payable - subsidiaries

  • Introduce invoices (co-ownership and taxes) in general accounting and in analytical accounting
  • Ensure the approval and payment of invoices
  • Check the approval of the invoices
  • Supervise the payment of invoices
  • Report the income statement by expenses, by real property and by site
  • Analyse the charges per quarter

Account receivable - subsidiaries

  •  Invoicing with Sap of the real estate Tax.
  • nvoicing of the co-ownership cost.
  • To check vat code related to invoicing of the co-ownership cost.
  • Invoicing of different other taxes.
  • Indexation of rents.
  • Invoicing of the others activities (Publicity,...).
  • Checking of the rents, costs, payments of the appartments.

Profile

General knowledge

  • Office automation knowledge MS OFFICE: Word / Excel
  • Detailed knowledge of the languages NL FR & EN: oral and written
