DEVELOPMENT MANAGER SPAIN (Madrid or Brussels)

The Development Manager will be in charge of healthcare projects. He/she will identify, analyze, negotiate and monitor development opportunities that are prone to join the portfolio.

Function

The Development Manager will be in charge of healthcare projects.

He/she will identify, analyze, negotiate and monitor development opportunities that are prone to join the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, negotiate and monitor development opportunities 
  • Set out a business plan, feasibility and strategy (incl. program, planning and risk management)
  • Roll-out and manage the development projects (new opportunities or within the existing portfolio) when approved by EC
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, from the pre-project to the actual handover and lease of the project
  • Follow-up on market trends and movements and continuously benchmark Cofinimmo in relation to development opportunities or developers
  • Maintain policy/administrative knowledge and positioning in relation to the various regions

Profile

General knowledge

  • 10 years of experience in a comparable position, experience in Health Care environment is a plus
  • Financial and/or Technical background (preferable commercial or civil engineer)
  • Detailed knowledge of the languages Spanish + English is a must : oral and written, any additional language is an asset
  • Office automation knowledge MS OFFICE: Word / Excel
  • Assertiveness, Control of emotions, Planning and organization
  • Respect of others (empathy and ability to listen), Respect of procedures
