History

Considering the growing healthcare real estate needs, Cofinimmo decided in 2005 to start investing in this segment through nursing and care homes as well as rehabilitation, psychiatric and acute care clinics.

After several years of intensive prospection in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Finland as well as a first investments in Ireland, Italy and the United Kingdom in 2021, Cofinimmo has become one of the most important healthcare real estate investors in Continental Europe.
